How it works

Fine print, turned into something you can actually review.

1

Choose what to review

Analyze the current page, enter a URL, or paste text directly into BeforeAgree.

2

Review important clauses

Surface privacy, legal, money, consent, data-use, and other high-signal provisions.

3

Check the evidence

Findings include source language so you can verify what the agreement actually says.

4

Ask questions

Search or ask across the loaded agreement set instead of hunting through pages of legal text.

Agreement coverage

One page may not be the whole agreement.

Terms often point to privacy policies, additional terms, data-use notices, refund policies, subscription rules, or other documents. BeforeAgree can follow relevant references and review the broader agreement set—not just the paragraph in front of you.

Privacy & data

Collection, sharing, tracking, retention, deletion, sensitive information, and third parties.

Rights & consent

Licenses, content ownership, AI training permissions, changes to terms, and consent scope.

Money

Automatic renewal, trial conversion, refunds, cancellation rules, billing, and price changes.

Legal

Arbitration, class-action waivers, liability limits, indemnity, termination, and governing law.

Privacy by design

Understanding an agreement should not require giving away your browsing history.

Local Rules is the recommended beta engine. Agreement analysis can run locally without sending the document to an AI provider.

Analysis is user initiated. BeforeAgree does not automatically analyze every website you visit.

Beta analytics are limited. They measure activation and basic analysis usage rather than agreement contents or analysis results.

Optional AI stays optional. Gemini and Ollama are available for users who choose those engines.
